This sunny and modern penthouse is owned by the 69 years old Barbara Littman interior designer. While many people her age might prefer a home that's warm and cozy, she designed in collaboration with Robert D. Henry, a New York architect, a modern, minimalist and bright space spending about two years and $190,000 in creating the penthouse of her dreams.
The yellow as accent color was a great choice. It really warms up the space and makes a strong statement.

Grey and yellow- one of the best color combination in interior design
Each color has certain characteristics, they are generally classified as "warm" and "cool" colors. Some are bright, and radiate energy, while some are soothing and neutral. Well, yellow is a warm color, is bright and full of energy. Psychologically is considered the happiest one in the color spectrum. It's also the most attention-getting color. Is perfect when combined with a neutral like grey, which is the color of intellect, knowledge and wisdom. Grey is the perfect neutral, that's why designers often use it as background color. The combination of this two is great for decorating any room, creating a harmonious and relaxing living space.
