Cozy Norwegian home

Take a look at this Norwegian home, which belongs to the ceramic designer Silje Aune Eriksen. It's simple and at the same time it's gorgeous and extremely cozy. The designer,Kirsten Visdal combines modern elements with the rustic base, using only soft colors. The accessories are fantastic, I especially love the ceramic milk cartoons and the fluffy blanket.

Loft in San Antonio by Poteet Architects

Occupying the top two floors and roof of a factory building in San Antonio, Texas, this 1800 square meter loft was designed by the national award-winning firm Poteet Architect for an art collector/artist. The loft was featured as one of the 100 best spaces published in Metropolitan Home Magazine.

On the lower level are located the main living spaces, both the old and new structures are rendered in white. The bright colors of the furnitures and the accessories light up the white spaces, creating a very powerful effect and a great inspirational space for the artist.

On the upper level is located the art gallery with modern art works, where the owner and the visitors can spend hours admiring the creations in a very spacious place.

Studio apartment in Central Stockholm

Studio apartments, also known as bachelor apartments, are gaining popularity all across the world. They are very efficient, having only one unit of flat, which contains all the essential rooms found in an apartment without any divisions, the only separate room with door usually is the bathroom.
This studio apartment from Stockholm has something very unique that caught my attention. Even if I think, that it would be quite impossible for me to live in a place like this, because maintaining clean a "white apartment" it must be very difficult; however, I have to say that I really love the architectural design and the minimalist decor of this studio. The large windows let in a lot of natural sunlight and when it comes in contact with the white surfaces the effect is immaculate. Probably it should be an unique feeling to live in a place like this.
